Does In Vitro fertilization always work in human body?

IVF or known as in-vitro fertilization, is the process when an egg is surgically removed fromthe ovaries and fertilized outside of the womb. This fertilized egg will eventually develop into an embryo which is then returned into the womb to grow. Sometimes this procedure does not work at the first try that is why doctors usually take more than one egg to fertilized. The unused egg is then frozen and stored for future used.
For people who don't want to conceive without having sex and if they have some issues with reproductive organs, they can use this method to conceive a child.
What are some future improvements which still need to be done to make this application perfect (limitations)?
The limitations of this application is that for some people ivf is a limited method because of economical issues since ivf is expensive.Ivf also gives the side effects to the baby when it is born because there is no guarantee that the baby will have no abnormalities. One of them is being born in a premature state that is not save for the baby.
What issues (social, economic, ethical, political or cultural) are currently related to the use of this application worldwide?
The issues are IVF not proven to be effective for unexplained infertility. however, it is expensive, complicated and can have many adverse effects. Children that conceived with assisted reproductive technology have about twice risk of having major birth defect or low birth weight than children conceived naturally.
